About Sunshine Needlearts Elizabeth is the owner and designer responsible for Sunshine Needlearts. After many years of teaching software and working in information technology, Elizabeth decided to do something more creative and Sunshine Needlearts was born. Since her mother and grandmothers all encouraged her to stitch when she was too young to know how addictive it would prove to be, she's been stitching for over 30 years. She paints canvases and designs charted needlework and beaded jewelry for Sunshine Needlearts. John contributes endless patience and technical wizardry in an effort to keep Elizabeth smiling at dinner. He builds the most versatile work tables, creates specialty lighting for stitching areas and product displays, takes most of the photos on this website, and helps out at trade shows. John also beads some of the kit models and verifies the instructions work as intended. Model stitchers whose work is pictured on the website include Liz, Joyce and Bill. They review chart instructions and provide corrections and suggestions for improvement. Obviously any mistakes still left in the charts after their reviews are all Elizabeth's, but it's great to have a team of supportive friends to review things before they go out to the rest of the stitching world. |
